ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Lori is an instructor of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with the UW Health Mindfulness Program. In addition to her work at UW, she is a dedicated educator, having worked in the Madison Metropolitan School District for over 30 years. Most recently, she has served as Mindfulness Coach and Positive Behavior Support coordinator at Madison’s Lincoln Elementary School. Her interests include exploring creative ways to share mindfulness and compassion practices to support well-being.
Tamar is a freshly retired educator: working with preschool age children with disabilities and all ages of students with autism for 30+ years. In the school district she also facilitated mindfulness opportunities with staff in support of their and student's well-being. She savors noticing the wonder of change in nature while having a blast with others.
