We will wrap up our summer season with a celebration of wine from Piedmont in northern Italy! Join us on September 10th and 20th for two incredible dinners. On September 10th, we will host Martina Fiorino to share the wines of her family estate, Azienda Agricola Bruna Grimaldi. In recent years, with its focus on quality both in the vineyard and in the cellar, this multi-generational winery has risen to be regarded among the very best of the region. This is a unique opportunity to meet and interact with a rising star of Barolo, while tasting several bottlings from recent vintages paired with exquisitely crafted dishes.
If you have missed the recent pop-up dinners from Sam, Jon, and James, now is your chance to experience their refined cuisine and thoughtful hospitality, as they will return to Four Winds Farm for this dinner. Jon Nodler is a James Beard semi-finalist, and opened Food & Wine’s Best New Restaurant (2019), Cadence, along with his wife, Sam Kincaid. Jon is also the former Culinary Director of Rule No. One Hospitality and Chef Partner at Amara. James Juedes is a local sommelier as well as former Director of Wine and Guest Relations for Rule No. One Hospitality as well as a partner of Amara.
Not only are the wines stunning, but we are particularly impressed with Grimaldi’s ethical approach to farming. They are true caretakers of their historic vineyard sites, with a stated sustainability mission “to decrease the anthropic impact on the vineyard in order to safeguard them in the best possible way.” We look forward to learning more about their ecological approach and how they are safeguarding the business for future generations.
