Join Lisa Johnson, Horticulture Outreach Specialist with Dane County, as she leads a discussion teaching participants how to become more successful seed starters. Participants will also have an opportunity to get their hands dirty and take home the results.
Topics include:
- How to test seed viability and properly store seeds
- Identifying cool season vs warm season crops
- Determine sowing and growing techniques for different crops using seed packet info, proper lighting, temperature, fertilizer and watering techniques
- How to harden off and transplant seedlings
*Fee: $35 (includes tax & take-home materials)
*Space is limited to 15 participants.

• Social distancing will be observed & participants will be spread out at workstations throughout our Loft area.
